  • On our website Rec desk, you have to register and make an account. 

    By registering online, you are putting in a pending application approval, which depending on first come first serve basis, may be either Denied or Approved, depending on availability.

    You can register for rentals online but must pay in person for the hourly and damage deposit.

  • Yes, depending on the activity and what service you would be requesting from the village it could be $30/Hour or more.

  • Weddings, Dances, Car Shows, Dog Shows, Art Fairs, events with over 250 participants.

  • No, you are not required to reserve a park for a birthday party. Activities such as Company Picnics and events with over 250 participants are required to have a special event park permit (submitted 60 days prior) to reserve a specific location within the park.

    Areas such as the middle Gazebo area, the shaded structure and as well as the vine walkway, are reservation basis only with a fee.

  • No, you do not need a permit to set up a jumper. If you need electricity, you will need to reserve our gazebo space at the park.

    If you don't need electricity, you can bring a generator for your jumper as long as its 10 ft away from the jumper.

  • No. The center is more athletic, physical-activity, equipment-orientated. There is a community party room located in the facility.

    Under 15 years old minors may go into weight room with adults but has to be seated/stand by the accompanied adult.

  • We offer both Fundamental and Competitive volleyball for Youth.

    Fundamental: 8-10 years old 

    Competitive: 11- 13 years old 

    Fundamental- Fundamental volleyball involves the basic skills and actions that players must master to perform well in the game. These include serving, passing, setting, attacking, and blocking. 

    Competitive- Competitive volleyball, on the other hand, is the sport itself, where teams compete against each other to score points by grounding the ball on the opponent's side of the court.

  • You can become a Ref/ Coach by applying in person before the season starts or calling our front desk at the Daniel Fernandez Recreation Center.

  • Dance Registration opens at the beginning of the Summer Season

    Date- First Week of June.

    Season lasts for a whole year, includes two dance recitals (Spring and Winter).

    You may ask the front desk if there are any spots open for dance classes or to be put on a waiting list in case a participant's withdrawals from class.

    • Los Lunas Vendors Permit/Application Filled out
    • Health Department Permit
    • Los Lunas Fire Department Check
    • Fire plan and a Fire extinguisher available 
    • Approval from Recreational Staff.
