The construction of Edeal Road/NM6 Intersection improvements, which will include a new signalized traffic intersection with turn lanes and a concrete median, are expected to begin in July.

Construction is already underway for landscaping improvements on Main Street between Canal Blvd. and Los Cerritos Road in front of the New Mexico State Campus to include sidewalk replacement, irrigation, trees, plants, rocks, park benches, and lighting. These improvements should be complete in June.

Pedestrian and bicycle facilities are going in throughout the Village.  The construction of a multi-use trail along NM 6 from Sun Ranch Road to Jubilee Blvd, including signage, striping, drainage, landscaping, and lighting, is scheduled to begin in June.  The multi-use trail on the east side of NM 314 from Romeroville Rd. to Griego Rd. are scheduled to begin in July.  Finally, improvements to Gensen Dr. to include new pedestrian/bike facilities, onsite storm water mitigation, street lighting, and utility improvements are expect to begin in April.
